Aluma

Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Aluma. By creating an account or starting a conversation, you agree to them.

1. What Aluma is — and is not

Aluma connects you with advisors for conversation, reflection, and general guidance. It is for guidance and reflection only.

Aluma is NOT a medical, psychological, legal, or financial service, and its advisors are not necessarily licensed professionals. Nothing here is a diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Aluma is NOT an emergency or crisis service. If you are in danger or crisis, use the resources listed on our Privacy page and in the chat, or call 112.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Aluma. By using it you confirm that you are.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity in your account.

4. Free messages, subscriptions & billing

New visitors receive a limited number of free messages. Continued use requires an active subscription, billed monthly through our payment processor (Stripe) until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

Be respectful. Do not use Aluma for anything unlawful, abusive, or harmful, and do not attempt to disrupt or misuse the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6. Liability

Aluma is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on conversations, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. Questions: adel.tarki@gmail.com.
